"Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is;
but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching!"
Hebrews 10:25

We would like to take this opportunity to warmly welcome you to the Foundational Christian Family Ministry, and explain a little bit about who we are and what our objectives are. You can also read more about us by visiting our "Mission Statement" page or our "Statement of Faith" page. We think that you will find this ministry somewhat unique among many of today's superficial and politically correct ministries. After exploring this web site, we pray that God will touch your heart, and that you will be lead to become a member of our Foundational Christian Family Ministry team!

To begin with, we are an independent non denominational Christian ministry. This basically means that we are not directly connected with any Christian denomination. We are fundamentally a protestant ministry, but we are not under the supervision of any specific denominational organization. The reasons for this are primarily twofold. First, we believe that there is only one God, and His word is given through a single holy text, that text being the holy bible. Since all Christians are commanded to follow the only living God in the ways that are directed in the bible, we do not believe that "the Christian body" should be divided into individual denominational separations. In short, we are all worshipers of the same God, and follow the direction given in the same holy text. We believe that further divisions within the Christian family are born of man, and not directed by our Lord. Because denominations are established to meet man's requirements rather than God's rules, we believe that many of the rules and regulations set forth by denominational organizations are developed outside of the requirements established by God. In other words, many of the squabbles that exist between many denominations, we believe are outside of actual biblical teaching!

Although we are an independent non denominational ministry, this does not mean that our ministry is outside of established Christian teachings, or that we are some kind of "fringe" organization! In fact our emphasis is to return to the foundational beliefs and teachings of traditional biblical Christianity! This is another reason why we remain dedicated to our "independent" status. We believe that a large part of modern Christianity has become so deluded, that it has largely rejected the basic principals that were established in God's word. At the core, we are dedicated to having our church remain committed to solid biblical teaching, and not become primarily focused on the rules and emphasis of some association or politically correct organizational policy!

Again, we would like to warmly welcome you to the Foundational Christian Family Ministry, and pray that God will help to bring us all, together in the sincere application of His word in our daily lives!

Jesus Christ sits at the head of the Christian Church as a whole, and certainly at the head of the Foundational Christian Family Ministry! Jesus Christ and His scriptures, form the ultimate authority within the FCFM!

The Senior Pastor is the ultimate human authority within the FCFM, and while they work in union with the Board of Elders, it is the Senior Pastor who holds the primary responsibility within our ministry. The Senior Pastor also serves as a member of the Board of Elders.

The FCFM Junior Pastor is a fully ordained pastor of the Christian gospel, but serves as support staff to the FCFM Senior Pastor. While a given FCFM ministry/church can have only one Senior Pastor, it may have multiple Junior Pastors, depending upon the needs of a specific ministry/church. Junior Pastors are subordinate to the Senior Pastor, and serve as a member of the Board of Elders. Junior Pastors must be appointed by their direct FCFM Senior Pastor, and approved by the Board of Elders.

Members of the Board of Elders work in union with the Pastoral Team, and help to determine ministry policy. The Board of Elders also serves as the FCFM’s Senior Prayer Team. Elders must be appointed by their direct Senior Pastor, and approved by the Board of Elders.

FCFM Ministers are those who have been appointed to lead specific ministries within their home FCFM ministry/church. Examples of these may include such things as Minister of Women’s Ministry, Minister of Music, Minister of Education, Minister of Children, etc. Ministers are subordinate to both the members of the Pastoral Team, as well as FCFM Elders. Ministers must be appointed by their direct Senior Pastor, and must be approved by the Board of Elders.

Ministry/Church Officers are appointed by their direct Senior Pastor and approved by the Board of Elders to perform specific administration duties within their home FCFM ministry/church. These positions may include such things as Ministry Treasurer, Ministry Secretary, etc.

Membership status is given to those who have shown a sincere commitment to the FCFM, and who have expressed a desire to serve as a regular and consistent member of the FCFM congregation. In short, Members are those who have publicly declared that the FCFM represents their “home church” affiliation. An individual must be a FCFM Member in good standing, before they can be considered for appointment to additional positions of authority within the FCFM such as Elder, Minister, etc.
